Just recently upgraded my Mac from Snow Leopard to El Capitan only to discover that now my "View" for Nikon is not compatible as of yet. Anyone have similar problems?

That's quite a leap: Snow Leopard is 10.6. El Capitan is 10.11. Fortunately, Nikon has kept the software up to date, and you can get it from their download site.

It's now called ViewNX-i.

Hi,
My edition of View-I v 1.2.1 (current) stopped loading. After a week of trying to resolve the issue with Nikon Online, Still the same problem. Then using online chat from the popup window from Nikon the person said the current version was not compatible with El Capitan 10.11.5, Nikon is supposedly working on the update. Hope this is informative.

I mean no disrespect to my friends at Nikon, but issues such as what you are describing were the main reason I switched to Lightroom CC in December, also on the Mac platform. Yes there is a learning curve, but I bought Kelby's latest book and a couple of DVDs from Laura Shoe and I am fast becoming an expert, at least in my own mind! Seriously, for me, there were way too many shortcomings in the latest incarnations of the Nikon software for me to waste any more time on it. I was a Nikon software guru since it was first released, but I have turned myself into a Lr guru and I'm a very happy camper indeed! Best of luck.
