Tobers17 mentioned the beauty of the poppy seed pod on my post "Oops". I had done some macro/closeup work on this same flower prior to the oops moment and thought I'd share the beauty of a flower that is easily overlooked. Hopefully, Tobers17, you will be pleased.

Carla, I love the innards of your poppy and this is a beautiful, sharp shot!! Every bit of a flower is interesting and to me the closer the better!! I wish you clicked the store original box so I can really get up close!!

I love the colour but I prefer a pod without the petals in order to show off the pod itself. I took this about a week or so ago. (Please note, I have not gotten around to processing these yet.) But I agree with the OP that the poppyseed pod is a worthy, almost sculptural looking subject offering many possibilities for a visual treat.

Carla, this is a beautiful shot. I love the light shining through the petals of the poppy and what a beautiful color it is! I also like the stamens framing the seed pod. Very delicate and very sharp!

Very nice,SchrodingersAlley! That little pod standing up so straight and proud with it's little cap and tie! I find these close ups are like buried treasure, so cool what you find.It is a visual treat. Thank you for looking and leaving a comment.
Welcome to UHH and I hope you enjoy your time here and learn a lot. I'd be eager to see what you do with your poppyseed pod images once processed. BTW, It never bothers me to have a member post their images on my thread although there are some that do, just want you to be aware.
