Cell phone battery

Looking for a cell phone battery for my Samsung Note 4 one that's a little larger than the OEM but not so big that I have to change the back cover.
I found batteries that are double in size but makes the phone way too heavy

You're kidding, right?

Get a Note 5. I love mine. Had a S 4 before that.

Can't change the battery in the Note 5 or add an SD card

Even if you could replace it, most extended run time batteries are 2 standard batteries stacked together & you need a bulged back to accommodate the thickness. That makes the phone too thick to fit most cases.

That's my problem I'm trying to find extended runtime without the thickness
Thanks

From my experience, what you're looking for doesn't exist. I work for Batteries Plus. You're not the 1st person I've heard asking for a "thin" extended run time battery. As far as we have been able to determine, they don't exist.

Should have included in my previous post a little better explanation. The average cell phone battery is 2600-3200 milliamp hours. That's the gas behind the voltage engine. The battery is a secondary thought when it comes to designing the phone. In an effort to make the phone as thin as possible, manufacturer's short the battery run time capacity. The only way to get more run time is to add more milliamp hours. The only way to do that is to make the battery thicker.

What's with the batteries I see on eBay 5400 milliamp hours with the same thickness as OEM is that a scam?

It sure looks like a scam. The batteries look like the regular size. I don't see how they can pack that much energy into the same size package. I looked on amazon.com and all the extended run time batteries come with a new back. All the regular size batteries are quoted at 3220mah.

I got a standard replacement for mine from Amazon. I don't recall seeing choices. There's not much room in there for a larger battery, although there are differences in mAh.
