Nikon D5 - Auto AF Fine Tune

As a (very) recent adaptor of the Nikon D5, I have been looking for some information on how to accomplish "Auto AF Fine Tune". I may well have missed it, but I can't find any information on this subject in the printed manual, downloadable manual or on the Nikon Web site. I may just not know the correct title, but thought someone on here might be able to assist. Thanks in advance, and have a GREAT Memorial Day weekend!

See Page 308 of your User's Manual, AF fine-tune.

Page 308, at least in my manual, says it exists, not how to accomplish it! Any ideas on that?

It says it's in the set-up menu. Have you gone there to see if it explains it? I don't have the camera, so cannot offer more than that. Hopefully the link posted by rwilson1942 is helpful. Good luck, let us know what you find out.
Edit: I have a Df, and the manual says AF tuning is not recommended in most situations. I personally have not seen a need for it.

What lens are you using where you feel you have to fine tune?
I have over 40 lens for my D5/D4s & 810 and have never had the need to fine tune any of them.
Im sure there are lens out there that may not meet nikon specs for various reasons, in which case may require the need to fine tune.

Camera and lens on a tripod, Lens set at widest aperture live view engaged and focus on a subject and get it into focus then push the AF button and the Movie button in and the camera will auto-fine tune the lens then you can say ok to accept and you are done

Careful with the auto fine tune feature. I experimented with it in my D5 and D500 and if you tune it a bunch of times, you'll find the adjustment varies. Mine was from -4 to +6 on one of the lenses I tested. IMO it's not very reliable and could conceivably do more harm than good, especially if you just take the first setting and don't average them out (although there's no guarantee that averaging them out will be reliable either, but it would be better).

Thanks for that link--Great resource for filling in the blanks in the sometimes cryptic owner's manual!
