More from the Garden of Random Flowers

I've found that overcast days keep flower colors under control, especially when the sun would ordinarily be right overhead and too bright for detail.

These flowers are from a garden which has been randomly planted at the stable where I keep my horse. It is well nourished with good fertilizer, and the people who tend it seem to have fun adding new plants - mostly roses. The effort has paid off. The new plants are an improvement over the weeds and bits of rye and oats that sprouted up in the past, just out of reach of the horses that live on the other side of the fence and would gladly do their part to keep everything well pruned.

Terrific series, Vicki! The rose in #1 is exquisite. I also love the composition of #3. I know the name but currently in brain cramp mode - lol.

Absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. I'll probably return here several times today just to walk in the garden.

Vicki, these are all great flower shots. Number 1 is a beautiful delicate color but each of these shots has its own individual beauty. You have really done a great job on these.
