I am waiting for my Nikon D500 body only from B&W--preordered --I was wondering if anyone who owns this camera has used it with a Sigma 18 to 300mm lens I have this lens for my canons and love it on them

Not that lens, but it's GREAT with the Sigma 18-35mm F1.8, their 50mm F1.4 Art, and 150-600mm lenses. It's MOST impressive with the Nikon 200-500mm F5.6 lens.

I have a reason why I want to know about the sigma 18 to 300--I need the wide to tele zoom and don't want to be constantly changing lenses , live in the desert with a lot of blowing dust and sand and weight is also a factor thanks for your input anyway
