Almost went there several years ago. Long drive in no man's land that doesn't even look like Earth on old route 66 to get there. Had a friend who's sister lived there. The whole town was on welfare and supplemented their income on what they could get out of the tourists. After seeing your photos, wished I had gone there. Maybe still will, who knows.

Thank you for looking. If you get the chance you should go. Its a very interesting area. The drive down from Las Vegas was not that long. We left Vegas at 8:00 AM and after stopping at several places and having lunch in Oatman, we were back in Vegas at 7:30 PM.

Thank you sailorsmom for looking and your kind comment. The burros were so cute. They were so used to people that they came right up to you looking for a handout. The shops sell food for people to feed them. I didn't because I don't believe you should feed wild animals.
