Just thought I let those that don't look at the B&H site every day that Photomatix 5 Pro is on sale for $49.00.
The playing field for HDR changed. A primary competitor to Photomatix was NIK HDR Effex. It became free a month or so ago. There are many threads here about NIK and their giveaway program. Additionally, Adobe has put HDR merging into to Lightroom's latest versions.
http://www.google.com/nikcollection/Unless there is something very specific about Photomatix's tool set you want or need, there may not be a reason to buy it at any price!
IMHO, these other tools cannot compete with Photomatix on fusion VS tonemapping, batch processing, and selective ghost removal.
