Between these idiots and the ones that tried to help the baby bison (that had to be put down) are going to get that park locked down to where you won't be able to enjoy it. Not to mention the other 3-4 this year already that tried to selfie with a bison or pet one.

Years ago my junior high music teacher told us kids a story. He spent summers as a Yellowstone ranger.

Seems someone thought it would be fun to have a photo of a brown bear appearing to drive his new Cadillac, so he lured the bear with some food on the front leather seats.

After the bear climbed in he snuck up and slammed the door. But instead of cooperating, the bear panicked at being trapped and tried to dig his way to freedom. The bear was in such a frenzy no one dared open a door, so the man had to wait helplessly for rangers with a tranquilizer gun to arrived and was forced to watch the crazed animal totally shred that expensive interior.

Sometimes there is justice in this world.

Sometimes nature helps humans purge stupidity from our gene-pool!!! Maybe we should just let natural selection work its magic...

That might not be a bad idea, because as these clowns prove, even a lifeguard won't help the gene pool much.

A travel group of college students from the famously liberal U.C. Santa Cruz college was in the Middle East. At a site where fighting had occurred. Two girls found an unexploded high-explosive round embedded in the stone of a destroyed building. Probably from a tank's gun. With the help of their friends they started banging it with bricks, trying to knock it loose so they could take it as a supervisor. The banging attracted the tour guide, a former soldier, who just about had a heart attack before he stopped the souvenir-hunting.

Liberal or conservative has nothing to do with it. As the Congress has proven over and over again, there's enough stupidity to go around.

They could have ignored the outrage, flipped the bird, and done nothing. So, yes. To their credit they apologized.

You can call it an apology, but what it was, was a PR move. They sell tee shirts or something like that plus similar merchandise and their criminal act which created a firestorm, was certainly going to take a chunk out of sales. That's all their statement was, CYA, in an attempt to keep their bottom line healthy. All that nonesense about being caught up in the beauty, getting carried away and looking for the unique shot was bull feces. They wanted a unique shot alright, one of themselves out there on the Spring, wearing their shirts. Nobody else would have anything better for their ads. Their actions were motivated by money as was their statement. I hope they get hit with a serious fine and jail time. Maybe their cellmates will think they look cute in those tee shirts.
