Thinking of Upgrading from a D 7100 to a D 7200

Has anyone upgraded from a D7100 to a D7200.
I shoot a lot of sports in RAW and get frustrated with the buffer lag when trying to get a sequence of shots.
Does anyone know first hand if there's much improvement with the D7200?

I upgraded for the same reasons you mentioned ... but my cost was $250,
as I was able to get a good price for my 7100 at the time.

I'd say a slight improvement ... focus fast, buffer, a little better in low light.

Come on, man. This issue has been addressed multiple times. Crawl from under that rock.

Is it better? Yes. Is it the answer? Probably not. If high FPS and big buffer are your primary requirements then the D500 would be the final answer.

Night and day difference. I did it and have not regretted, especially if shooting in jpeg format. But I would suggest you jump all the way to D500. If specs and initial reviews are correct, it puts both cameras to shame.

Those who suggest the D500 obviously have reading and comprehension issues.

Sometimes it is better if the intolerant crawl under a rock and stay there, then we might not be bombarded with unnecessary comments, like this one....and mine! Tell me, Jim Bob, how did this post make your life harder, or more miserable? Get a life, Man!

I shelved my 7000 for a 7200 (also for Sports/soccer) I use fast cards and never had an issue with either camera. In fact I used it last weekend and ran off 600 shots in an hours time...shooting RAW I had absolutely no issues with bursts of up to maybe 10-12 at a clip.

Perhaps you should take your own advice. Pop psychology is obviously not your strength.

You obviously do not read very well. Go back and look at my posts and then tell me none "contribute to the conversations". If I'm a troll, you're an idiot.

I'd say after reading Jim Bob's posts calling hem a troll is high praise.
