Leading the parade #3 (and last I think)

Thanks all for your helpful suggestions. I apologize for taking so long with my final edit. (The good news is I'm finished planting the 2016 crop.) My final edit mainly used the curves adjusting tool which is quite remarkable. In fact, while I knew I liked the effect (making the darks a creamy black as per Nightski's suggestion) I didn't fully understand what the curves adjustment actually did. So I posted it in the post-processing section and received some tremendous knowledge. I suggest you go there and read the information that several folks shared. http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-387347-1.html

Thanks all for your most helpful critiques.

(Hmmmm, the final edit has slightly better blacks in the water when I view the original on my computer compared to when I download the photo I posted. But it is close.)

That is quite the difference. The tones in this are much better.

Thank you. There is a name for a photo technique where the blacks are very deep. Wish I could think of it.

It's called de-haze in Lightroom. :-) I think you've done a nice job in post, Greg to bring this to everything it can be. Nicely done.
