Thanks Carol! I called the owner today to get permission to come over and take some iris photos I couldn't get the first time due to the rain from the night before. To my surprise,he isn't letting anyone on the property because he's so busy pollinating and only has a short window to do so. He can't be distracted at this time.
He said, "There's always next year."
