It was very challenging this morning , the high winds buffeted telescope all over , but a few exposures found a moment of calm . I packed it in when the gusts hit 45mph ,, but it was still fun!

45!!! That's about how fast I drive on the interstate!
You're lucky, nothing but clouds here since last night, probably through next month!

Good job! Sorry to hear the wind drove you off. Is this with the new giant light bucket?

Hi Scott , Its our windy season here , usually things calm down at night but leaves a great deal of dust in the air :| Hope you get some clear skies soon !

Very much appreciated Craig , I think I may need a focal reducer for solar shots, any recomendations?

I use the Focal Reducers made by the same company as the Scope.
A Celestron FR is what I use now on my C-9.25".
What Scope are you using now Steve.

I didn't know they made Baader film in bed sheet sizes...

When I was trying to get a focal reducer for my Orion G3 camera, I tried cheap, then the most expensive, but the one that works (and works very well for my camera) is Orion's 0.5x focal reducer.
It was a frustrating search...
