Finally, I signed in.
Have been reading the posts for several years and have wanted to commit on some. First camera was an Argus C3 in 1956 when I was in the Navy. Now Canon T2i (it will do all I want to do) Canon 50mm f1.8, Canon 85mm f1.8 and Sigma 30mm f1.4 mostly portraitsof 2 daughters, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grand children.
Thank you - looking forward to long journey and much learning.
Welcome to the HOG.
Enjoy.
Welcome to the Hog, enjoy.

I'm like you...just joined, but have been following UHH for some time. My first offerings were of recently taken pictures on one of my old film cameras. Yes, I shoot digital, but I still like using film and living in both the analog and digital worlds of photography.
Starting out with an Argus C3 was, indeed, a humble beginning, but the important thing is that it was a spark that lit your desire to continue with photography.
I look forward to seeing pictures. Please post some soon.
