I'd like some advice about the best way to post in this forum. I'd like to post 7 pics here with a few lines of text before each. What's the best way to do that? I know how to post and add pics to the post, just not sure the best way to go about this with the text between.

I do not think you can place text in between....pics always show up after the text. At least as far as I have seen with posts.
Of course you can use the title/description line for text above each picture.
Edit: I suppose you could get really complicated and post text & images using url link commands, but then the images would need to be hosted on another site I believe....and they would be prone to disappearing if something happens at the remote site.

When you add images, there is a text block on the left where you can add information for each image. The text will be above the image.
