suggestions for purchasing flip brackets for my camera.
I have been using a flip bracket mounted to my tripod from ALZO. The bracket over time will twist till it will no longer stay in one position on the tripod.
I retired ALZO and went with Custom Bracket. Should have found them first time ...
I have one of the Custom Brackets also and really like it. Makes life so much easier especially when you are shooting quickly.
I love my ProMediaGear L-bracket on my 6D. Works great and is solid. Especially good with Acra-swiss style mount.

Custom Brackets are definately worth a look. a little pricey, but WELL worth it. I have the RF-Pro and absolutely love it. You can get several different attachments as well to customize it to your needs. I got the lug that allows me to use it with my Black Rapid slingstrap and it is worth its weight in gold for me.

Take a look at Newton Brackets. They make rotators for tripod, and for hand held use. I've been us I ng their Di100FR2 for 8 yrs with no issues.

I use a Stroboframe I've had since the 1980s. It works great, keeps my flash's flash tube parallel with the sensor, and directly over the lens at all times, horizontal or vertical.
At the school photography company I worked for, we used Custom Brackets rotating brackets. They rotated the camera under a stationary flash. That sucks the flash beam of most shoe mount flashes (we used Canon 580 EX IIs) is horizontal. When we went vertical with the camera, the heads and feet of subjects were cut off... in shadow. Unfortunately, we had to tell everyone to only use them for verticals in rooms with low, white ceilings where they could bounce the flash...
They now make a bracket that works like the Stroboframe it keeps the flash tube parallel to the sensor or film.
Hi everyone. After researching on line I purchased from Custom bracket digital, the ProSVKIT from B&H and got it the next day. It was a bit costly ( $260.00) but since I do yr.round bookings I decided to go for a bracket that would be serviceable and well built. Thanks everyone for your input. This bracket if not for flash but for studio tripod mountings.

A purchase I am certain you will not regret. Best wishes for your continued success.
