Yesterday I heard a boom around 4 PM and the lights went out. Turns out the transformer behind my house blew out. Following are photos of the transformer replacement. Successful replacement at 7:30 PM. All is well!

Last time this happened to us, I brought the SCE crew a 6 pack of bottled water, since it was 102 deg outside.

Especially during hurricanes and tornadoes.
Our squirrels love to chew on our transfomers! And they do make a loud noise when they blow! Glad you're back to normal now, Mark!
