I got these last Saturday. I thought I'd share them with you.
Terrific series! I love your pp. The b&w (#6) has tremendous impact in composition and perspective, and what a great choice for shutter speed. #1 is pretty darned cool too.
Try a slower shutter speed to blur the propeller disk. I did the same thing, being more concerned with the speed of the plane etc.
Beautiful shots! I especially love the dramatic skies and the black and whites. Thanks for sharing.
Those are all really good shots.Enjoyed them all.Don't get to see too many Zeros in flight.
Good series. The B&W shot is powerful. ;-)

I got to see some of them even though I was home sick. Here in Corona we had a fair number of fly overs as the planes made wide swings to the south. Glancing at a map my house is about 10-12 miles from the Chino airport in a straight line.
Great shots! Even the sky cooperated by adding all sorts of drama and interest. :)
I forgot to mention some of them have been coming over the last three days also.
The B-25 went over just a while ago.
They must be doing tune ups and stuff after the heavy use at the show then testing and practice.
By coming south and southeast from Chino they get more open country and a large number of airfields if they need to make an emergency landing. Up to and including March Air Base about the same distance east of me as Chino is north of me.
Love the Sandy and the Zero, assuming that's what it is. I read a while back that there was only one original Zero left in the world that still flies? I cannot verify that. Tnx for sharing these

You are all very welcome and thank you for the kind words. This was my best outing as far as airshows go.

Hay Jeep daddy I don't want to steal your post but you need to know there are some birds of a different feather in Morongo. Me and my sister will be there this weekend and your invited to come and join the fun. We will be there Saturday morning at 6:00 am. I am attaching some from last week.
