I think it is nice of you to share this "article," but as I looked it over, I began to wonder whether even a newbie would this of benefit. S/he will still have to go through this process again with the actual manual that's provided with the camera purchase.

This link provides little explanation of what those terms actually mean, like many "quick-look" manufacturers' camera manuals. I conclude that the only tangible benefit to this "piece" is to alert a prospective first-time camera buyer that: a. cameras have lots of controls, and b. maybe you should look at the manual after you buy one? 🤔
