Hi all,

I wa so excited when I saw this just now on Ospreyzone.com. Gracie was looking at her 3 eggs and then got on them. I did 3 VERY quick screen shots. It happened so quickly as I got to the site that I did not even have time to enlarge the view - hence the VERY poor quality of the shots. It was necessary to do some serious cropping.

Hope you enjoy them. I'm hoping George and Gracie do not have a repeat of last year when they lost one of their chicks.

Mike, I'm hoping the same... Maybe since last year they were first time parents, that things will be different this year and George will deliver the food a lot faster to Gracie and the 3 babies and history won't repeat itself....

Thanks from my iPad. All I did was take screen shots.
I was surprised to see 3 eggs because the last I heard, she had 2.

Thanks Angela. I was absolutely thrilled to see the eggs at all. She's usually sitting in the nest when I check in. Then when I saw 3 eggs, I yelped so loudly that my husband thought something was terribly wrong. I did warn him that I was "checking in on my Long Island Osprey".

LOL... I just hope we don't go through like last year, I cried every day and my husband would yell at me to stop watching when pee wee was being attacked. Evenutally I had to stop watching until he passed, but then it was awesome to watch them take flight!
