The Desert in Bloom

This spring the palo verde trees in the Tucson have the most blossoms we have seen in 10 years. I waited until the "golden light" time of day and recorded this picture of some blooming palo verdes with Saguaro cacti growing among them and the Catalina Mountains in the background. This was an HDR photo taken with a Canon 60D and the Canon 15-85 mm IS lens, handheld.

Excellant, excellant... The glow of a sunrise and sunset are the best for natural lighting and you nailed that one...

Thanks donrent - you really had to see this in person to appreciate the extent of the bloom. Also, the picture in the forum is about 1/2 stop darker than the one on my screen - I have not noticed this in the past and hopefully is a one time Problem.
