D7200 M Mode Question

I just purchased a (refurbished) D7200 through Adorama. It appears brand new. I've been viewing an on-line tutorial on its operation and have run into a potential problem. While in Manual mode with the info button pushed, the video shows that Auto ISO is on by default and the Auto ISO is blinking. On my camera, the info display shows ISO, not Auto ISO and there is no blinking. What am I missing here?

I don't think M (Manual) Mode has any impact on ISO settings. I think you set the ISO value and/or Auto ISO independently Of the exposure mode.

Go to nikonusa.com. Wander around & find the manual for that camera. Download it. You'll find the correct answer tyere, rather than the WAGs you'll get here.

Good luck

Hold your ISO button ... turn the sub-command dial (front) ... that will toggle between regular ISO and Auto-ISO.

Take a look at page 102 of the D7200 User Manual. I think the 1st sentence may clear up the confusion.

You can also get the free Nikon Manual Viewer app and download manuals that Nikon has available to your phone or other device.

I recommend you go to You Tube tutorials. There are many to select from because the Nikon D7200 is certainly a best seller.
