I wonder if I should move .....?

I have all but given up on skies for a few days. We have cloudy weather until Sunday night (that is iffy) Monday is forecast to be 10 percent cloudy and that is the best the extended weather folks give me for a two week period - as far as they go.

I wonder if I should move :)
--------------------------------------------
Now I have a question for you.

I am called from time to time from at modeling agency in New York - at most 4 times per year - to photograph models in the upstate of SC and Western NC. All they want is a headshot - no retouching - RAW file sent digitally. I did one of these shoots on Monday - when I called the model to set up the shoot....she said she would have a hard time making it to Spartanburg as she had a two year old child, lived in the country in Pauline SC (not too far) ...unless she could bring her son. That is not a problem - we have toys and stuff to use when we have children to photograph and a headshot just takes a few minutes so I told her no problem......then it hit me, COUNTRY - humm, clear skies and dark skies country. I ended up going to her place and WOW - a horse farm with a 3 acre front yard - no lights - and then I popped the question. Could I pitch a tent - setup a scope - and spend the night on a clear sky night - she said, "help yourself." I said - please make sure your husband is ok with it first, she went on to say that he was deployed and would not be back until June but wouldn't mind anyway.

They have 13 acres total - she took me on a tour of their land - well off the highway and told me I could setup anywhere I thought would be best - she could move the horses if necessary.

I told her for this offer, I would offer my services at no charge for portfolio shots...and introduce her to the pro photogs in our area at our next Guild meeting.

So I took a few pictures of this celestial beauty on this cloudy day and landed a new spot to shoot 'up".

Hey all of this was done with a one shot color camera :)

That sounds fantastic Ed, can the rest of us come too.
We all covet that one great spot and it looks as if you've found yours.

Hummm, I don't want to push my luck but wonder if she would bring me some "sweet tea" on a hot summer night?
