New to me anyway - 45-50 year old Micro=Nikkor 55 mm f/3.5 focuses down to 1:2. $26 on E bay + PK-13 Extension tubes for 1:1 $10. Here are my first shots with the lens and Extension tube. Sure glad today's Nikon's can use old lenses. It will even auto expose in aperture priority. I do have to manual focus. Here are my first shots using the tube for 1:1 Dave
That was always a great macro lens. I used one about 40 years ago on an already vintage FTn. Enjoy it.
Yes, well that old glass has not been properly "cost engineered" .... OH!! that's a good thing.
I just purchased on E-bay... Japan Used... Tokina 100mm f/2.8 Macro, USED?? not a finger print or smug any place.. $175.. not nearly the good deal you got... but better than the "new" B&H price of $350, I have not taken any shots yet...tested it tho.
Will take time this weekend to visit some flowers ... thanks for the push... d/p
