This week end was the annual Flood Run along the Mississippi River south of the Twin Cities, MN. Again there were thousands of bikes that came through Prescott, WI. Here are a couple that should catch your eye, but many more beauties came through. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Children's Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Shots two and three, show what was represented as costing over $300,000. Yes it is a 16 cyclinder bike. Out of my league. Hope you enjoy seeing them. Leon

Hi Erv. I totally agree with you. When he started it up it just shock the air around it and rattled the windows in town. But it was obvious that it had more horse power than the Town Car I drive. Leon

LOL!! Yes my truck gets me around pretty good too.:) Back in the day, I did the East side of the US on a Honda 450. Took me 3 years. When I did the west side on a Honda 750. I start these trips at the age of 14. First 2 years no drivers license.:):) But my bike riding days are over. Janny doesn't like to ride.:(

Photo #1 looks like one of the factory Triumph land speed record bikes built in the late 1950's, only the second one I've ever seen in a photo. The other one belonged to an eccentric collector in Southern California. As for the others, I've seen a custom bike with one V8, first time I've seen one with TWO!

These three bikes were the only ones I posted. There were many more which I could have posted so I will try to show them at a latter date. the last bike must have been a labor of love to drop both the front and the back while keeping it stable on the road, Leon

I still have my CB1000. Made only in 1983. Very few of them left on the road. I put mine away after my cousin got killed on his Harley. I think I only have 8500 miles on it and will never probably ride it again. Leon
