Can't really use the carving tools yet. Being on blood thinners, I can't cut my self. I have to wait to do that after I am off the meds.:):) I got this stained before we went to see Jason. It turned out pretty good. A friend put the Brass on the top piece for me.:)

Nicely crafted !!!

That's just beautiful, Erv! Hope you get off those meds soon.

Do you ever sell your creations?

If it's anything like quilting, you'll say, "If I do, any price I quote will be too much for you, and too little for me." Right?

Erv,

Great job, and thanks for sharing it with us. Hope the new occupants will show some respect and not speckle your car...

A beautiful job Erv. I've been on blood thinners since 2009 and doesn't look like I'm going to get off of them anytime soon. Have decided to go on with my hobbies and enjoy my life but be just a whole lot more careful. Safety is a big thing for me. Go out and enjoy your life just be safe.

Erv, finally getting around to commenting about your WW skill. I saw the remodel and stuff. You are great. Wish you were around to do a basement.

I had to give up my woodworking for the same reason plus sawdust does not go well with a lung transplant. I did not have your talent for carving but I made very nice quilt racks and other small furniture items.
