Can't really use the carving tools yet. Being on blood thinners, I can't cut my self. I have to wait to do that after I am off the meds.:):) I got this stained before we went to see Jason. It turned out pretty good. A friend put the Brass on the top piece for me.:)

Great work Erv, very well done

Really great bird feeder Erv.

I am on blood thinners due to A-Fib (erratic non standard heart rythm)
My doctor told me that once you go on thinners it is for life. Because your body adjusts and changes when you take them. You learn to be a little more careful, keep first aid kits handy etc.

Thank you Tazzy!! It is a feeder. the Raccoons tore up the last one I made about 12 years ago. But it was looking pretty sad any way.:) Yes the meds are a pain, but I get off them in another month I hope.

Very nice house, any bird would be proud to call it home. Hope you get of the blood thinners soon. I have been on both for a number of years & it is a real pain.

Thank you Carol! I got little carried away making it so big.:) And it is going to cost me a lot to fill it. But it will be fun to see if the birds like it.:)

Beautiful work Erv. It's almost too pretty to put out in the weather. I'm sure the birds will appreciate it though.

Hi Bob. No fee, it is a feeder and I guess you don't have to play for those. But it might cost me a lot to fill it.:):) Yes the Doc told me what it was for. But boy do I bleed when I do cut my self!!! It sure works good!:):)

Will there be a home owners association fee ? It's a lovely bird condo. BTW I hate the term "Blood thinner" as they do not lower the viscosity of blood (which could be fatal). They are anti-coagulates. They change the clotting time, so as to lessen the bloods ability to clot. Which is usefull in controling any number of conditions
