Epson V series. All good. View on Epson web site for features/benefits.

As others have said, the Epson V series is excellent. I've scanned hundreds of thousands of all sorts of tings with my V600. I wish it kept track of the number of scans. It probably does, but it's keeping it a secret.

Epson V600 has an unbelievable photo restore algorithm in the software. I had photos and slides that were completely faded and my slides had a strong red tint and I couldn't see any color in them but the V600 brought them back to life with their original colors. Great scanner for the price.

Hi! Did 5000 slides, scanning, on my Epson V750 to my iMac. Took all summer but it was worth it. Most scanning done on automatic.

A scanner that was generally well received in the National Association of Photoshop Professional's magazine Photoshop User was the MicroTek line of scanners. I have the MicroTek i800, it did good work but is now a bit behind the times featurewise.

Epson V600 has been a reliable flat bed scanner for a few years now. The output is fantastic especially on old photo's.

If it has to be a Flat bed scanner, then you would be hard pressed to find anything better than the Epson V850 (I personally would always prefer a dedicated film scanner over a flat bed scanner, because the image quality I soooo much better)!!

I have been using a Canoscan 9000 for several years for prints, slides and negatives with good results.

Same here, but it doesn't do 120 roll film.
