Well done. The first photo is quite dramatic.

Nice. When I was in England back in the 50's I lived in Well-Next-to-sea for 27 months and use to love the pints of mild. It took me a long time to get use to them. If I remember correctly it took me a whole two days. LOL...Rich

Very nice series. Your number one photo is superb. I also like the simplicity of the glass of beer photo as well. Thanks for sharing.

This is a nice set. My wife and I visited Lyme for a New York minute last month but it was overcast and dreary.

I like your version of the Cobb much better. Mine had only a handful of boats and the tide was out so they looked tired leaning over.

Very nice shots! But not too crazy about the "sand" on the beaches.

thanks Mike, this was about the best day of the week for the weather, I just cropped the pic to see how it looked.

thanks Past Pro, I agree with you about the beaches, most of them have huge pebbles, not really shown here, they have been put there on purpose to try to slow down the erosion of the cliffs.

We live about 70 miles or so from Wells next the Sea which is on the North Norfolk coast, the beer shown is actually called Bitter, Mild is usually much darker looking I prefer the lighter looking ones myself.

These are very nice too. I would have liked to spend more time in your neighborhood but we had a typical tourist schedule where we had to see as much as possible.

We called it "The Jane Austen Tour" although Canterbury was on the list for a different author. In any case, the english countryside is fabulous and I was actually getting the hang of the roundabouts hy the end of the week. :)

Hmmm you don't have roundabouts in your neck of the woods which causes us Brits problems (well at least this one)
