I wonder how these two species will get along. This is only the second year I've seen the vultures here.

Thanks Angela. Went for a walk yesterday at Caumsett. I think the turkey vultures are sort of new to Long Island. There were 3 of them, just hanging out. Beautiful to watch.

I like where the osprey is nesting. Better location than the one on the Meadowbrook Parkway road sign.

Thanks for the comment Indi. They have a prime view of the pond and Sound from the mansion's rooftop. And yes, that's a turkey vulture aka a buzzard.
