This guy showed up at our bird feeder yesterday, good thing he was hungry, ran downstairs grabbed my camera and out the front door of the house to sneak around the back of the house to get his picture. We have had a female visiting for about a year now but this is the first time a male has come for a visit.
Photo is not great but he didn't hang around long so handheld at about 470mm with a sigma 150-500, f11 (should have opened it up more) speed was around 1/45 and iso 800. Was in Av mode
About 50 feet away.
