I am some what new to photography. I have always wanted to learn. And recently I was given a Kodak slr camera so I thought this would be the best time to learn. so teach me i am eager to learn and want to take the best photos i can with what i have available to me.. thanks
Welcome Stacy, The very, very, very first thing to do is to "Read the manual". Last time I was in Farmington there were great pictures to be had at the rodeo...... Great place to practice even without animals. The second thing to do is to re-read the manual. Third..... pretend there is no auto capability. Become familiar with all the settings. The only mistake is to not take pictures. Have fun. Post what you take.

Hi Stacy - I am from Arboles,CO and have not been back to the ranch in a long time - could you please tell me how it might be doing - you know the barns & Old house - easy to find they tell me - go to the boat ramp in Arbolese - go "east 1/4 mile them look strieght down about 60 ft. -- LMAO

no i have had to go to the manufactures website to learn how some o it works but i am still unsure how to use some o the features.
the camera was given to me. and I use to only use a point and shot disposable cameras but this digital thing is new. seems easy but i get confused about what aperture and ISO are sometimes i get them mixed up.
