Phishing scam on UK VIirgin customers

These usually go straight into my Scam folder. Gmail seems to know how to spot them.

When I sign onto my bank and CC sites, they have warnings about giving out banking info to anyone online.

The Rule of phishing.

a) If an email is targeted to your email like it was a name.. Its spam ( example, your email is joe@doe.com and the email says "Hey Joe@doe.com great deals for you!"
b) If the email also uses the first part of your email like it was a name.. (example, It sounds legit when you have joe@doe.com, but if you have cadaver@doe.com, it will sound silly when the email says "Hey Cadaver, contact me asap!")
c) Any email that uses generic phrases and not direct names.
Aka any email that says "Dear user" "dear client" "dear member".
These generic ones are obviously mass sent.
d) any email from a company you never used suddenly is asking you for username and password. (always check the links, never use the email links or buttons, go always straight to the company service via a web browser)
