Nice Zeiss optics with a larger sensor than my DMZ-ZS40 which has a 24-720mm equivalent designed by Leica.

When I read about this it tempted me to get rid of all of my heavy DSLR gear and just buy this. I think I would miss the 180mm macro though. :)

I have the RX 10, and I've been delighted with this baby. If the extra zoom is as good as it says, this will be a gem.
