Apple refused to help the FBI to crack the iPhone5c of the killers of San Bernardino, CA last year. The rumor is out that the FBI paid an Israeli technological company $200,000 to do this. FBI denies this story. However, Apple's reasoning for the FBI to tell how they did it, is to see what the the iPhone's vulnerabilities are. It is not known if the FBI will comply with Apple's request.

Apple is kidding, right? What is this? You scratch my back and I'll lick your ass? They can hire the same firm (with stock holders money) to tell them. The FBI uses tax payers money. Hope it was all worth the effort. Now we likely know what the terrorists ate for breakfast (you know typical social media BS) -- like the pathologist / medical examiner does not now know that. You've all watched CSI right?

Maybe Apple should hire the same Israeli firm that reportedly helped the FBI crack the IPhone 😈

I would tell Apple to stick it where the sun does not shine. I don't like their products anyway.

That is funny! Talk about ironic. :D

If the FBI tells them, then Apple will make changes, so it may not be possible in the future. Maybe the company that cracked the phone will accept payment to tell Apple how they did it.

The FBI has refused to tell Apple how it was done because the FBI does not (A.) want Apple to fix the hole. and (B) does not want Apple or anyone else to let conspirators know about how the vulnerability was exploited.

Right. I hate it when they announce on the news how the gov't tracked down terrorists or criminals. There's no reason for the public to know that.
