Yeah....and they'll be meeting my Villanova Wildcats...a much different team than the one they beat Dec. 7th in the Pearl Harbor Memorial game....as evidenced by the way Villanova has advanced through the tournament, beating UNC-Ashville, Iowa and Miami by an average of 24 points each and then beating No.1 in the world Kansas to get into the Final Four.

I'll definitely be watching Saturday night.

Yep I remember the last time OU made it to the Final Four, and to the Finals against Kansas (a team we beat 2 times in the regular season and again in the Big 8 Tournament). Then we got beat by Kansas (a team that beat Michigan State in the last seconds of their final 4 game because the refs forgot to start the clock which would have made Michigan State the winner). I hope this time, OU can paste Villanova again the go on to win it all. (Note: I was kind of hoping Kansas would have been on the other side of the bracket or at least beaten Villanova so we could face them again (this time we would have lost to them in the regular season and be beating them in the finals) oh well, Boomer!!!
Note: I still watch the old video of the Missouri at OU game when Billy asked the crowd, "In spite of how bad the referees are, please don't throw things on the floor. You might accidently hurt our players." I was at that game.

Gee and I thought it was a no shit war story.. (the 1988 part) Getting Kansas in the finals would definitely have been a fairytale. However, it didn't hurt my feelings for them to get beat.

I just hope the UNC-CHeaters don't win it. They have set the high bar for athletic cheating over the past 20 years. That's what can happen when 70% of the journalists and 70% of the legal system (judges, lawyers, and state legislators) in your state are graduates of your school. Absolutely no oversight and Dean Smith knew it well.

That's the biggest margin of victory ever in Final Four history.
