Problem installing Nik-google Free

Trying to install the free NiK Software but keep getting the error message to close Bridge.exe. I do not use Adobe Bridge so where do I find it to close it. Used search function on Win 10 but nothing shows up. I do have Photoshop loaded on the computer but use Lightroom 5.7 for cataloging.

Bridge is part of both Ps & Lr. But something is obviously amiss.

Right click task bar Open taskmanager and look for bridge as a background prg click it then click end task

Weird to have a legit program (component) like Adobe Bridge hang on Windows 10. I've found Win 10 to be flawless other than that they've moved nearly everything around in it. No crashes yet (had PC since early December). And Ps CS6, Nik, & Topaz installed fine. Windows 10 even installed my ancient HP C5180 Printer. I had problems in the past installing Win XP and Win Vista drivers for it.

Instead of completely unloading, some programs leave a small exe file running so that when you go to run it again it boot immediately in the case of Photoshop it is a file manager and stays in the background until needed

Earlier editions of PS included Bridge but CC allows you not to install Bridge

By default Bridge will start when you open Photoshop. You can turn this feature off by going to Bridge>Edit>Preferences>Advanced and either check or uncheck "Start Bridge at Login".
