Anemones are one of the surest signs of spring for me. They are my kind of plant...plant a few, leave them alone and they will develop naturalized beds of simple beauty.

Wow Bob! Are these growing in your garden! Yours are a different kind of anemone. Mine are Anemone De Caen. As you have seen mine. I only have a few small clumps and hoping they will spread. Thanks for sharing these.

Yes, mine are the plain old everyday type...Anemone-Blanda.

Unfortunately. only the all white ones grow in my garden. The others of these are grown using NEGLECT as a style of tending. These grow in a nice home that is tied up in probate, and has been, for over ten years. These have thrived and spread. Each year, in late March, I visit the place and shoot my Anemones.

Not nearly as exotic as yours but very welcome!

Thanks for stopping by!

Bob, this is the first time I've seen this kind of anemone, and they're absolutely beautiful! And do they ever put on a spectacular show! Glorious shots!

Always glad when you stop by for a visit. To be honest, I didn't realize there was more than one kind! I can only advise that they must be a very old variety or they must have been very cheap! Thanks for commenting!

Beauties, Bob! The second one in particular has exceptional lighting, made for a gorgeous shot! Nice work on them all.
