Hi everyone! I'm from central Illinois and enjoy photography. I like shooting all genres, but my favorite is anything with the sun. Unfortunely, I don't live near an ocean to get beach shots, but I still always watch for water reflections (my fav). I hope to make alot of friends here. I still have alot to learn...I'm hoping this is the place :)

Welcome young lady. People like to talk gear here a lot but there are a lot of very knowledgeable amateur and professional photographers on the UHH. People will answer your technical questions about cameras, lenses, computers, processing software, etc. I personally push for more discussion of technique, theory, and composition. There are several specialty areas on the UHH for topics and techniques like Macro. There esthetics are more likely discussed. We have many "real characters" too.
You may want to list you brand(s) and models of camera(s) and lenses so you can receive specific help. Feel free to share your images (post). I'm on Facebook too. Have fun.
