Brussels terrorist attack
In the US in 2013, firearms were used in 84,258 nonfatal injuries (26.65 per 100,000 U.S. citizens) and 11,208 deaths by homicide (3.5 per 100,000 averaging 31 per day), 21,175 by suicide with a firearm, 505 deaths due to accidental discharge of a firearm,[4] and 281 deaths due to firearms-use with "undetermined intent"[ for a total of 33,169 deaths related to firearms (excluding firearm deaths due to legal intervention). Why aren't we also outraged about that?

Another goof ball gun grabber posting unsubstantiated stats. I too would be interested in seeing the "source".

What you have pointed out are statistics having to do with human stupidity vs terrorism.
Two totally unrelated topics. So if you are trying to justify taking our legal weapons, don't bother as you will lose.

Why aren't you outraged that most of these shootings were caused by career criminals?

Please share some statistics with me showing that "most" of these shootings were caused by career criminals. Suicides clearly aren't. I am outraged at anyone who kills someone, regardless of whether the shooter is a career criminal. A dead loved one is a dead loved one, regardless of who the shooter is. But, why aren't you outraged that career criminals have easy access to guns?

? Next time you want to insult someone you should try harder to think of a witty yet provocative remark.
You're really just another miscreant with an internet connection...you need to work towards a goal...like
Troll of the Year or better yet...
Parental Embarrassment in Chief...assuming you had parents and were not hatched.

I have no interest in taking away anyone's legal weapons. Let me repeat: I have no interest in taking away anyone's legal weapons. I own weapons myself. What I am interested in doing is trying to keep weapons out of the hands of career criminals, the mentally insane, those who are on the terrorist watch list, and others who should not have free access to weapons.
Some say that background checks are the first step in taking away our guns. That's like saying that driver's tests and car registrations are the first step in taking away our cars.

Unfortunately, your stats are somewhat out of date. Here are some recent ones from just 3 months ago.

Happiness is killing a criminal and America is outraged by criminals getting and using a gun. Nuff stated!

My goal is to rid the country of destructive liberals like yourself so the rest of us can live with the liberties that are guaranteed to us.
