Last weekend I shot some mountain bike stages, 3 out of 5. I had my backpack with 2 bodies, 3 lenses with my 80-400, speedlight, battery pack, tripod, monopod, spares, stool, suncream, midge deterrent and so on.
The next day my back hurt more than usual. The weight of my backpack is considerable. The terrain included some slopes with shale so my progress was slow and careful.
My question is is there a mirrorless camera suitable for these activities that won't weigh as much. Obviously I can reduce what I carry and I will keep what I have for snowsports as a bigger body is essential when wearing thick gloves.
I tend to shoot with continuous autofocus and using burst shots.
Any advice on which mirrorless camera might suit?
Many thanks in advance.
I tried my Olympus E-M5Mark II with an Olympus 40-150 f2.8 pro (a good lens) shooting motor rscing trsckside and it was almost a total waste of tine. A Canon 70D ran rings around it.
Other than that the Olympus is a good camera.
