you go to your word processer and create a false name @ address .. Send 'em a letter,"You have been stealing my clients photos, what do you intend to do about it?" , sign it False Name, Attny At Law .... Betcha the problem goes away.. GBG
I shoot wildlife photos and display them at a local restaurant; not that they are so terrific but I don't want them stolen. I stopped posting most of my photos on any web site because no matter how well they are protected if a thief wants them he/she will get them.

Bob and Steve, thank you. Steve, in order to contact VotoArt via the site, you must be on Facebook or Twitter. It's all a grand conspiracy :)
So create a temporary FB or Twitter account just for this purpose, something with a username like Nemesis24-7 or similar!

Thank you!
I checked the sites again, both VotoArt and Pixoto have a purchase option. And on VotoArt they give limited exif data. All the pictures I checked have dates and times taken only a few seconds off from the posted time.

Thanks. St3v3M, devious fellow, pointed out you can enter any ol' thing in that box :) Now whether the email goes anywhere after that, we'll see.

I saw those dates on my shot, didn't check any others.

Wow. Such is the power of Photoshop. The first looks like an early warning system in the background. The second like a nuclear sunset.
The first picture is powerful, the second should be nuked...

Depending on what you use for e-mail you can work around that. Create a free g-mail account first, then use that...
When I bought a computer and didn't want to get e-mail spam from a place I didn't recognize I used the the name "Enigma Creations", and I still get a catalog in the mail every month, but the e-mail just goes into a black hole....

Does anyone know the name Vince Fallert? One of my photos + one of wowbmw's - and no doubt others - are showing up under his name on a site called VotoArt.
I dont' see any way to contact the site administrators without creating an account through twitter or Facebook.
http://votoart.com/portfolio.php?id=3908is it possible to prove through the metadata that it is your photo? if so, maybe a lawsuit is in the making.

I also recognized a floral shot with the unmistakable style of UHH member "Snap Shot" using the link you provided to "Vince's" page at VotoArt.
