I like the composition; it's out of the box for a GBH. It also makes one wonder what the bird is looking at. Nice shot!

I've taken quite a few Heron shots. They can be hard to get a good composition on because they're so skittish. The only thing I would change is lower the aperture to blur the background a bit more. Otherwise an exceptional shot. As far as what he's looking at, it's either a little frog or a fish too big to swallow.

He can't jump, let alone have the moves of the real, one and only Dr. J. I am willing to be wrong however, if I see a championship 76er ring. :-)
