Here's a photo with a history.
It is of my wife Barbara when she was 19. Taken at a party where she was dressed as a schoolgirl, more than 30 years ago. The camera was probably an OM-1 using FP4 film, loaded, processed and printed by me.
I recently scanned the neg using an £80 Ion scanner, tarted it up a bit in Elements to remove the dust etc and got it put on a 20x16 canvas print on the wall.
The quality is amazing and could have been taken yesterday.
It's my favourite photo of Barb but she is horrified by it and tuts and shakes her head whenever I show it to anyone.
Don't tell her I showed you.
Barbara
Nice shot, ohh, to be that young again. Jen

The gang here won't mention to her that we think the shot is delightful, and that we have forwarded the message and shot to many of our friends all over .. mostly in US, Canada, Europe (only Danamark all the way down to Italia and Greece) , western Asia (don't you really love Turkey and her people !), and N. Africa (only Morocco straight thru to Cairo -- the Sahara is a fascinating, if torturous, place). Michael O'
That's not even close to being funny. My ass is grass if she is in the wrong mood. She might be quietly pleased but that's too big a risk for me. She was a babe though and I now realise I was punching way above my weight. Thanks for the kind comments, I was very unsure about posting this.
Ok now you can stop being polite - this is what she was going to marry. I don't know why I am doing this.

Oh Kev- you are so cute! Jen
Oh no, this is an OLD photo remember. I am not sadistic enough to post a current one.
Even so, a nice thing to hear and very rare - thank you (even if you were joking)
