Could the following happen?
Trump gets aced out of the nomination by the Republican party and registers as a 3rd party candidate and runs for president;
and,
Hillary is denied her nomination due to certain legal issues and Biden is the Democrat nominee;
and,
Bernie thinks like Trump and decides to run as a 3rd party;
and,
Cruz or Rubio is the Republican nominee.
If the above actually happens, who will be elected president?

Add the scenario Cruz is declared ineligible because he was born in Canada. My money is on... None of this will happen.

Who ever raises the most money for their campaign. Same as every other election. Really you should just sell the presidency off to the highest bidder, and put the money towards paying off the national debt.
