I don't think the situations are even similar. The Democratic party base is not based on hate and anger, and/or fear.

No, I was referring to the Democratic party as you well know. That you disagree simply illustrates your narrow views.

No, the Democratic Party is based on demonizing just about everything/everybody who does not agree with its principals.
The war on women sounds like a big deal when emphasized by the Democrats but on close inspection it seems that Democratic politicians in Congress don't pay their female workers as much as the men are paid. Even in the White House women are paid less.
Democrats hate the big oil companies and love the green ways of the new society. Yet the loudest complainers of ecological problems are Democrats who fly their own jet planes, own 5 or 6 homes that need to be heated with something.

"Hillary is the embodiment of a sick and detested status quo. She stands for nothing, is nothing, and a vote for her all but guarantees both murder abroad and oligarchy at home. I think a large number of Bernie Sanders supporters understand this and wont be going off silently into that quiet voting booth to commit ethical self-sacrifice despite the terrifying prospects of a Trump presidency. I think theyll stay home, but they wont sit there passively. Theyll be seething inside, and many will renounce the Democratic party forever. Many rank and file Republicans already came to such a conclusion years ago, which is precisely why the nomination was wide open for a man like Trump to capture. Democrats will do the same, and before you know it, political pundits will be tripping over each other to write about the death of the Democratic Party."
