Bees do re-fuel on honey

I thought it was a myth that if you came across a bee on the ground it was tired and that if you gave it honey the bee would eat it and fly off. Well it's not, and it was, and I did, and it did....did.

Two things come to mind, 1 honey is actualy bee vomit. 2 honey is the only food source that does not spoil.If it gets crystlized heat it in warm water or the microwave, good as new.

Bees will not cross large bodies of water. Thus, when looking for "local" honey, determine if there are any good sized rivers or even lakes between yuou and the bee farm.

The 'bee vomit' might stay with me for ever, but thanks all for the kind comments. I was dead chuffed that it worked.
