The Fun FREE SUNDAY once again.
You know I have seen colours, flowers and whatever and our colours are limited to white and red, the red in the thermoter which actually is visible now and then during the winter. I'm not jealous but I did hav a case of cabin fever and needed colours, so I hung these out front today, my photo project on barn wood

Was down in the White Mountains of New Hampshire this past week

While out looking for the eagles at their nest today, I kept squinting at the trees looking for some sign that they were going to start budding! Which remindsa me... how is the syrup flowing? The Festival must be on in Quebec!

No sap running yet. I used to tap between March 22 - 25, tubes are already set up but no flow yet. Should be a good season tho, snowing daily now

I was just reading a book last night and the girl mentioned about pouring the hot sap into the snow and eating it! Never saw it done. Looks like your wife is enjoying it! Looks pretty familiar, but I must admit they don't wear plaid shirts down there! ;-) Looks like a good time is being had!
I must add to that....I love wearing plaid shirts...just something warm about them!
