Horeshead Nebula

This was just an after shot when I was done with the Flame Nebula.
The Horeshead is not easy to process I know I overcooked this but I only had 3 Lights at 180 sec, ISO 320 to work with.
I would have prefered ISO 200. It was real hard to get rid of some of the Noise.
Nikon D600 Modified to IR 626nm, Celestron 9.25" Scope 2400mm, Orion StarShoot Autoguider.

Nice Craig.
Your getting closer with your new stuff pretty quickly.
At least now I have an idea where these are and can work on pulling some of this stuff out to.

And good luck with you Modified T2i.

I'll ask, because I do not know....

Is this stacking the same mathematically as say stacking photo's to get 'blurred waterfalls'?

I guess I should be more specific, does this reduce the noise the same way? Three photo's at 320 = ISO 107

Thanks for looking in Scott and I've looked at you HDR waterfall stacks, and they are beautiful by the way.
I am going to give that a try in Lightroom and see what happens. It wouldn't Merge, oh well.
But I do not know the answer to your question. I don't quite understand it.
Hopefully someone else does.
