This is my first attempt using Affinity Photo (Mac) for post-processing.... purchased for $50 download... I have very minimal experience with Photoshop. Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you!

Good start. Now lots of practice. Vary sometime settings and observe the changes. Keep notes.

What are your thoughts about Affinity? Is it worth the relatively small investment? It appears to have a significant learning curve.

Affinity.... from what I have read it not that difficult if you have done Photoshop as they are set up similarly. However, for those of us who have not, it will be as difficult and the amount of editing we want to do. There are many excellent tutorials and it has been reported to be as powerful as Photoshop. The will have an upgrade in 6-12 months that will be free! :-) I am extremely impressed so far but don't have a good comparison as I didn't do Photoshop. Try their 10 day free trial? I did and was sold.

Lets us know what you think after your trial.I believe there are several here, myself included that have a mild interest in this software.

I started playing with Affinity this am. In a week or so, I should have an opinion.
Nice save.
You can get Photoshop Elements for about $50 also. I think that would give you a lot more possibilities. There is a section with guided actions, so it is automated. But is really gives you some of the abilities of the real photoshop, in a smaller package. I like it a lot.
